An Apartment for a Young Family

The Brief

A senior manager from a European company relocating to Liverpool. The client was looking for a home for himself, his wife and baby within easy commute of his office but also convenient for his wife to find work.

Location Assessment

After analysing commute times for various areas and assessing nursery and child care facilities, we took the client on a familiarisation excursion around suitable areas, this enabled the client to identify locations for the homesearch.

Home Search

We scheduled two days of property viewings, one in Manchester and one in Liverpool. We viewed properties at a range of prices and arranged for the client's wife to meet a local firm to discuss employment prospects in the area.

Lease Negotiation

After second viewings, the client decided on a property in a suburb of Liverpool within easy reach of his office and commuter routes to Manchester. We negotiated a rental within the client’s budget; negotiations became protracted so Birkdale arranged an interim agreement, hand delivering documents to ensure the family was able to move into their home on schedule.
